The figure below shows a laminar horizontal jet of liquid that appears to contract as it leaves a
tube defined by the pressure gradient The pressure gradient defined by P_(tube )>P_(atm. ). Gravity in this
situation is neglected. the surrounding fluid is air, the shear stress exerted by the surrounding air
on the free surface of the liquid jet will be negligible. At the exit of the tube, consider that the
liquid has a fully developed Poiseuille profile given as
(u(r))/(U_(0))=2[1-((r)/(R_(0)))^(2)]
Please find the numerical values of the radius ratio (R_(\infty ))/(R_(0)), and velocity ratio (V_(\infty ))/(V_(0))
